Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Halfborg Software, who make cuekards. They cover the web version at cuekards.com and the Android app. By using either, you agree to them.
Using cuekards
You may use cuekards to prompt, record and save takes, for personal or commercial work. Please don't use it to break the law or anyone else's rights, or try to disrupt the site or the services it depends on.
Your scripts and recordings
Your scripts and your recordings are yours. Cuekards claims no rights in them, and as the privacy page explains, it never receives them. You are responsible for having the right to use what you load and record.
Paying for the Android app
The web version is free. The Android app is a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google Play takes the payment, and Google Play's refund policy applies to it. If something has gone wrong, email us as well.
Google Drive
If you connect Google Drive in the Android app, your use of Drive is also covered by Google's own terms. Cuekards opens only the Docs you choose, as the privacy page describes.
Cuekards itself
The cuekards name, logo, website and software belong to Halfborg Software. These terms let you use them as cuekards is meant to be used, and give you no other rights in them.
No guarantee
Cuekards is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that it will follow every word you say. Check your takes before you rely on them.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, Halfborg Software is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost recordings, data or profits, arising from your use of cuekards. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for cuekards in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page will be updated and its date will change. If you keep using cuekards after that, the new terms apply.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore decide any dispute about them.
